Data analytics and management firm Visionist has been awarded a prime contract worth $190 million to help the Department of Defense manage computer network operations.
Visionist said Monday it will assemble an initial group of 60 professionals and services to provide a range of technical support services to DOD under the five-year single-source award.
The team will design systems, develop software, and perform data science, communications, and lifecycle support work to help the department meet the network’s mission requirements.
Chris Berry, president of Visionist, said the company combines software and data science platforms with the goal of accelerating intelligence analysis.
Founded in 2010, Visionist provides analytical technologies to help customers analyze, visualize and act on their large datasets for open source cyber, signals and intelligence applications.
